"Consulting" companies, some of which are formed by former executives who may have been taken early retirement , solely use their past experience to operate.
One of my favorite cynical websites is www.despair.com. They have a very amusing poster that reads, "Consulting - If your not part of the solution, there is good money in prolonging the problem."
We take a much different approach. We do not like being called "consultants." To us, the term connotes thoughts of a hands off approach where someone is just telling someone what to do; without taking the full responsibility for successful results.
Our approach is very different. We become part of your team. In some cases, with our Association Management Contracts, we actually become THE team. We take the strategic plan and direction of the board of directors, then develop and implement, with great care and pride, their vision. Our job is to take apart the project, put it on a drafting table, and make certain that all parts are properly sized with the right strength and aesthetics to make the organization profitable, strong, and most importantly, a desirable product for their clients!
